As with every other part of the British Isles, Jersey's men and women became embroiled in the devastating conflict of 1914-1918. Drawn from a variety of backgrounds, some were awarded for extreme gallantry, some perished in the conflict. Others survived with tales to tell, or kept their experiences to themselves, such was the emotional trauma of war and their memories of friends lost.
This issue features six of those involved. The original images have been restored and colourised to feature their subjects in a contemporary light, offering a new perspective of this remarkable generation.
All our mint/cto products are carefully prepared by our own team and supplied in glassine bags to ensure you receive them in pristine condition.
